Advantech to show AIoT solutions at embedded world

Advantech has announced its participation in embedded world 2024, set to take place in Nuremberg from April 9-11, 2024. The company will showcase its range of hardware and software solutions, designed to cater to burgeoning markets like EV charging and AI-integrated robotics, at its 160 square metre exhibition space in Hall 3, Booth 339.

The event will feature live demonstrations highlighting Advantech’s scalable industrial Box PCs, tailored for Edge AI applications. Notably, the AIR-150 system integrates Advantech’s first HAILO AI acceleration module with Intel 13th Core i5/i3 processors, aimed at applications such as AI-based access control. Additionally, the NVIDIA IGX platform-based AIR-530 Box solution, offering 200GbE Ethernet bandwidth and 32 TFLOPS of AI computing power, and the compact AIR-030 AI Box powered by NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin for energy-efficient autonomous machines, will be demonstrated. These systems offer robust AI inferencing capabilities and a variety of I/O options to support diverse application needs. They are globally certified, adhere to industrial standards, and come with a long-term availability guarantee of five to 10 years.

Intel’s new ARC A380E chipset will be showcased in live AI demonstrations to illustrate advanced computer vision applications such as age and mood detection, relevant to sectors including gaming, surveillance, autonomous vehicles, and healthcare.

The exhibition will also spotlight Advantech’s high-performance products across all board form factors, including COMs, SBCs, and Motherboards. Highlights include the SOM-5885 COMe module with Intel 14th Gen Core Ultra Processor and integrated ARC GPU, and two new SBCs, the MIO-5154 and MIO-2364, powered by the latest Intel Atom x7000E Series, designed for applications in retail, medical, factory automation, and more.

Additionally, the RSB-3810 SBC, featuring MediaTek’s Genio 1200 chipset optimised for Edge IoT applications, will be introduced alongside OSM modules utilising Qualcomm and NXP technology for low-power applications.

The showcase will also introduce Advantech’s Qualcomm SoC board-based portfolio for Edge AI applications and the SQF 930L Flash Memory card in the E1.S form factor, supporting PCIe GEN4 for Hyperscale Solutions.

Advantech’s software and service offerings, including operating systems like Microsoft Windows IoT and Ubuntu, BIOS modification services, and support for Linux Yocto and QNX, will be highlighted. These solutions are engineered to streamline the development of complete systems, featuring demonstrations of x86 platforms with Slim Bootloader and support for custom Yocto BSP with local engineering assistance.

A variety of Industrial Display Solutions and display kits will be presented, tailored to specific applications with low customisation fees and minimum order quantities.

Visitors will have the opportunity to explore customised solutions, showcasing Advantech’s Design & Manufacturing Services (DMS) and local support options. The team will be on hand to discuss Advantech’s customisation services, from minor product adjustments to full custom system designs, and answer queries on customised board, system, and software solutions.
