ActionStreamer joins AWS network in first-ever private 5G-qualified streaming camera solutions

ActionStreamer has recently been accepted into the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Partner Network (APN). This development enables ActionStreamer to offer enterprise customers pioneering AWS Private 5G-qualified streaming camera solutions. The APN is a worldwide network of AWS partners collaborating to develop, market, and sell customer solutions.

Bob Lento, CEO of ActionStreamer, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration: “We are excited to bring these solutions to Amazon’s network of partners, leveraging new video streaming capabilities enabled by 5G. Our software platform combined with AWS P5G is paving the way for managed visual communication solutions and innovative digital workflows.”

Integrating ActionStreamer’s comprehensive streaming platform with AWS Private 5G (P5G) marks a significant leap in connectivity and scalability for streaming media from embedded and wearable technologies. Through this collaboration, APN customers can access 5G-enabled connected device hardware and reliable video streaming software on a unified platform. This allows the delivery of stable, low-latency video streams in 4K HD, essential for applications such as telemedicine, real-time surveillance, and live events.

Joining the APN places ActionStreamer within a global community of over 100,000 AWS Partners from more than 150 countries. This partnership enables ActionStreamer to collaborate closely with AWS to deliver innovative solutions to shared enterprise customers.

Chris McLennan, Co-founder and CTO of ActionStreamer, commented on the partnership: “Our advanced streaming solutions combined with AWS’s robust 5G capabilities open new possibilities for IoT and smart device connectivity. This collaboration offers a seamless, high-bandwidth communication experience that is secure and scalable. It represents a significant shift in the use and perception of mobile streaming technology in our increasingly connected world.”

ActionStreamer’s focus on 5G media streaming has established it as an industry frontrunner. In 2021, it became the first to transmit real-time video from wearable 5G-enabled devices. AWS selected ActionStreamer as one of the initial companies to receive and trial AWS’s Private 5G products. The company’s innovative solutions have been featured in AWS’s P5G displays at the re:Invent conference.

The partnership between ActionStreamer and AWS signifies a pivotal moment in the advancement of streaming media technology, revolutionizing IoT and smart device connectivity and communication. They are delivering secure, scalable, and high-bandwidth solutions to customers.
