“Security teams can’t keep up with AI,” an industry chief warned at GITEX Europe 2025, calling for urgent action to prioritise privacy in the workplace as cyberattacks surge across the UK.
GITEX Europe is running 21-23 May in Berlin, Germany, covering the European digital economy.
At the event Arkadiy Ukolov, Co-Founder and CEO of Ulla Technology, an AI-powered, security-first assistant, urged organisations to adopt AI solutions built with security and compliance at their core.
The event happens amid a wave of high-profile breaches affecting retailers such as Marks & Spencer and the Co-op, exposing critical gaps in how sensitive data is protected.
