United Robotics Group (URG) is a group of eight European robotics companies united in one group. Under the group is an empowered ecosystem of 300+ qualified technology-inspired people, driven by a shared set of human values, focusing on customer needs, product quality, data privacy and sustainability.
The main goal of URG is to develop a new gen of robots, combining the best of both worlds – human interaction social robots and skilful industrial robots: we call it CobiotX – Robots For Humans.
With URG subsidiaries in Germany, France and Austria, they are able to serve customers better in Europe and continue to improve offerings for existing products such as Pepper & NAO.
Alliance with Softbank Robotics in Japan continues
SoftBank Robotics Group continues to support robotic progress as a shareholder of United Robotics Group and will stay as the master distributor in Japan and Asia.
Renewing Aldebaran, part of United Robotics Group
Aldebaran is headquartered in Paris where they imagine, design, industrialise and produce robotic solutions. An expert R&D team is constantly exploring robotics solutions that help make people’s lives easier, safer, more connected, and more extraordinary.
