Self-service beer station with AI-powered security solution

iDenfy, the full-stack identity verification and fraud prevention startup, has joined forces with Beera Station, a self-pouring beer machine service provider. The new partnership will help Beera Station check buyers’ age and verify their identities while ensuring swift service.

Verification methods protect minors from getting their hands on age-restricted services and items, such as alcohol. Despite the stricter laws over recent years, the widespread use of online services leaves security gaps. Consequently, to overcome these challenges and ensure the legal supply of beer, Beera Station partnered with iDenfy. The newly implemented identity verification solution ensures safe services, helping Beera Station’s clients enjoy simple and quick access to the popular beverage.

Beera Station is a unique self-service beer station network helping its customers pour their own beer. According to the company’s officials, the automated machines eliminate the need for bartenders and help clients save time, which creates a more enjoyable experience. The simple access to Beera Station’s machines wasn’t the only important factor for the business, as Beera Station wanted to enhance security with a robust age verification tool. That’s when the enterprise found iDenfy.

Currently, alcoholic drink sales are strictly secured with iDenfy’s full-stack identity verification solution. Beera Station’s app, Tappster, uses a built-in identification system from iDenfy. The AI-powered algorithm checks whether the user’s uploaded document is real. That means minors and clients with fake, altered documents are blocked from accessing the drinks from Beera Station’s network.

iDenfy’s verification procedure takes less than a few minutes, or exactly four steps. The newly chosen automated ID document detection system instantly recognizes documents by type and country. iDenfy’s software runs a series of technical checks to detect fraud while spotting inconsistencies and verifying user data. This allows Beera Station’s consumers to buy their drinks through the app after having a smooth onboarding experience.

For Beera Station, the goal was to find an ID verification solution that deters fraud and protects minors. At the same time, the company searched for reliable partners who could help with personal data management. This factor influenced the decision to join forces with iDenfy, as the company ensures GDPR compliance by keeping sensitive data protected using its servers. It’s with mentioning that iDenfy is ISO-certified and insured all its products earlier this year with Lloyd’s Cyber insurance.

“We’re excited to take this partnership to the next level. iDenfy is helping us ensure security without compromising our customers’ experience. That helps us safely grow the business and reach new markets,” said Shoval Vishengrad, Co-CEO of Beera Station.

Domantas Ciulde, the CEO of iDenfy, added: “Our team is glad to partner with Beera Stack. Customer due diligence is vital to protect minors from age-restricted services. Implementing modern tools and securing the business helps safeguard your reputation, not to mention protect your customers and their data.”
