SEALSQ has announced a strategic collaboration with Allion Labs Japan, a certification consultancy with over 30 years of experience. This partnership aims to support IoT device manufacturers in developing secure, standard-compliant products in line with protocols like Matter, while ensuring adherence to international IoT security regulations, such as the EU Cyber Resilience Act and the US Cyber Trust Mark.
As SEALSQ’s sales representative in Japan and an authorised test laboratory for CSA Matter certification, Allion Japan will assist manufacturers throughout the product lifecycle—from development to certification. This collaboration is designed to help IoT manufacturers reduce time-to-market and lower technological costs by offering an all-encompassing, scalable security solution.
Allion Japan will leverage SEALSQ’s vertically integrated security offerings across the IoT ecosystem, including:
- Hardware secure elements such as the VaultIC292 and VaultIC408, designed to protect devices against tampering and ensure their integrity. SEALSQ is also advancing its development of quantum-resistant chips to provide customers with future-proof solutions
- Chip personalisation services, enabling the integration of security features from the outset of development
- An industry-compliant Root of Trust, accredited by organisations such as Matter, GSMA, and WI-SUN, which serves as a secure foundation for IoT devices
- Managed PKI services via SEALSQ’s INeS CMS Platform, simplifying the management of device attestation certificates and product attestation intermediates
Both SEALSQ and Allion Japan are exhibiting at the CEATEC 2024 event this week, showcasing Matter-compliant smart home solutions on the CSA Japan Interest Group’s stand. This partnership underlines the significance of secure and interoperable IoT devices in today’s connected world, aligning with SEALSQ’s mission to enhance the security of the Internet of Things.
